Fascia is the ground substance or connective tissue of the body. Fascia covers absolutely everything within the body. Fascia allows for 3 dimensional movements of bones, muscles, tendons, organs, glands, etc. Surgeries, scars, accidents, dehydration, medication, or little to no exercise are some of the reasons why fascia becomes “fixed, stuck, or inflamed”. Fascia treatment is especially supportive for longer lasting chiropractic adjustments, and increases flexibility and movement of tight, painful muscles and joints.
